West Johnson Street Bridge Celebrates Golden Anniversary Fifteen On The Fifteenth

The West Johnson Street Bridge in Fond du Lac opened to traffic 15 years ago today November 15th, 2001. The bridge, roadway, and utilities project is the most expensive and complex public works project of its kind ever built in the city. It has made driving more convenient for motorists trying to avoid delays at rail road crossings in the city. Pictures courtesy of Steve ‘axle’ Hinkley.
