WHEDA Home Loans Hits Eight Year High

Officials with the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority say the nearly $322 million in single family home loans in 2016 they funded was their highest mortgage lending since the 2008 housing crisis. It was a 60% increase from the $201 million in home loans during 2015.  The 2016 lending volume enabled 2,637 Wisconsin residents and families to purchase a home with a low-cost mortgage.
