Whisper Hill Group Needs Funding Support For New Home

Whisper Hill Clydesdales Special Needs is trying to raise funds for a new home. The farm they currently operate out of in the Fond du Lac area is expanding its operations and no longer has room for the animal-assisted therapy group. Tim Wiskow of the organization says they need to raise about $200,000 for a down payment on a new location in the Neenah-Menasha area that is not far from High Cliff State Park. The location would be ideal for their needs. Denise Shaffer is working with the group, which she says provides a service for people with physical or cognitive disabilities or just need an outlet to ease their anxiety. Although best known for the Clydesdales, they also have ponies, miniature donkeys, goats, sheep and llamas. A Go Fund Me page has been set up for Whisper Hill. You can also find out more about their effort by calling (920) 322-0636. They are a 501(c) (3) nonprofit charitable organization. (Whisper Hill photos)
