WI State Patrol Hiring for Troopers, Inspectors

The Wisconsin State Patrol is currently accepting
applications for people interested in working as a trooper or inspector, and men
and women from all cultural and educational backgrounds are encouraged to
apply.

Trooper Justin Hansen is an 11-year veteran of the State
Patrol – he explains more about what type of person they’re looking for. “We
really just are looking for good, honest people out there that have integrity
and professionalism, compassion for the public and people that want to be out
there to help,” Hansen said. “You don’t have to have law enforcement experience
– if you’re young and haven’t had any college education yet – we’re still able
to take people on and actually hire them without that prior education.” Hansen
adds that people with “good life experience” also make good candidates for a
job with the State Patrol.

The agency’s Fond du Lac post held its first-ever Open
House Tuesday evening as part of its recruitment efforts. To apply or learn

deadline to apply is January 12th of 2020.
