WI State Patrol Takes To The Air August 1

The Wisconsin State Patrol will be increasing their presence in Fond du Lac and Outagamie Counties in the next few weeks. The state Patrol has announced they will be taking to the air in an effort to monitor highway speeds, and look for those ignoring the speed limits. According to State Patrol Officials, the airplane will allow personnel to track speed from the aircraft. That information is then transferred to available units on the ground, who will then proceed to make the traffic stops. The two main areas of focus will be Highway 26 in Fond du Lac County and along the I-41 corridor in Outagamie County, and is set for August 1.
