WI Unemployment Rate Now 6.2%

It could be a sign that Wisconsin is slowly getting back to something that resembles normal, as the Department of Workforce Development announced the preliminary employment estimates for August. The latest data shows Wisconsin added almost 35,000 total non-farm and almost 17,000 private-sector jobs in the month of August. Wisconsin’s unemployment rate dropped almost a full point, down to 6.2 percent.
