WIAA Wrestling Regionals:
–The Top Two wrestlers in each weight class advance to sectionals
Division 1 Regional – at West Bend West HS:
Fond du Lac High School:
152 Pounds – Isaac Ortegon won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals by winning over Kasey Gish of West Bend East in the championship. Oregon won by a fall in 1:55
285 pounds – Joe Schmitz won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Alex Bognar of Hartford in the championship. Schmitz won by a fall in 3:02
Division 2 Regional – at Laconia HS:

Individual Results:
106 Pounds – Dylan Kastein of Laconia won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Evan Kelnhofer of North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs. Kastein won by a fall in 0:33.
Kelnhofer from NFDL/SMSA would place second at 106 pounds and advance to sectionals, defeating Connor Koch from Lomira in the 2nd place wrestleback. Kelnhofer won by a fall in 1:06
113 Pounds – Drake Mullenbach of Campbellsport won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Alex Falke of Waupun in the championship. Mullenbach won by a fall in 0:27
Falke from Waupun would take second place at 113 pounds and advance to sectionals.
120 Pounds – Ostin Blanchard of Campbellsport won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Makenna Hanke from Lomira in the championship. Blanchard won by a fall in 0:48
Hanke from Lomira placed second and will advance to sectionals.
126 Pounds – Easton Hull of Waupun won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Alex Faber of Lomira in the championship.
Faber from Lomira defeated Nick Cohen from North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs in the second place wrestleback. Faber advanced to sectionals after winning by a fall in 2:25
132 Pounds – JJ Ksioszk of Campbellsport won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Caiden DeGroff of Waupun. Ksioszk won by a fall in 3:06.
DeGroff placed second and will advance to sectionals
138 Pounds – Langdon Everson of Laconia won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Sam Koth of Campbellsport in the championship match. Everson won by a fall in 1:46.
Koth defeated Brandyn Beahm of Ripon in the second place wrestleback to advance to sectionals. Koth won by a fall in 0:47
145 Pounds – LeeRoy Cotton of Ripon won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Anthony Nighbor of Waupun in the championship. Cotton won by an 11-6 decision.
Chas Glewen of Laconia would defeat Nighbor in the second place wrestleback to advance to sectionals. Glewen won by a fall in 5:16 to take second place.
152 Pounds – Adam Sauer of Lomira won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Colton Lovejoy of Laconia in the championship. Sauer won by a fall in 1:31.
Lovejoy would take second place and advance to sectionals.
160 Pounds – Trevor Roecker of Waupun won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Eric Pilling of Lomira in the championship. Roecker won by a fall in 1:25.
Pilling took second place and advanced to sectionals
170 Pounds – Owen Casper of Lomira won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over James Fettig of Campbellsport in the championship. Casper won by a fall in 1:33.
Alex Button of Ripon would win the second place wrestleback over Fetting to claim second place and advance to sectionals. Button won by a 10-2 major decision
182 Pounds – Logan Neitzel of Lomira won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Brodey Schroeder of Laconia in the championship. Neitzel won by a 6-0 decision.
Schroeder would take second place and advance to sectionals with a win over Sebastian Meyer of Campbellsport in the 2nd place wrestleback. Schroeder won by a fall in 2:56.
195 Pounds – Abe Helsell of Lomira won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Nathan Petersen of Lomira in the championship. Helsell won by a fall in 0:41.
Petersen took second place and advanced to sectionals
220 Pounds – Joseph Volz of Campbellsport won the Regional Championship and advanced to sectionals with a win over Aaron Socha of Ripon in the championship. Volz won by a fall in 2:41
Socha took second place and advanced to sectionals
285 Pounds – Aiden Last of Lomira won the Regional Championship with a win over Caden Kraege of Ripon in the championship. Last won by a fall in 3:02.
Kraege would claim second place and advance to sectionals with a win in the wrestleback match over Riley Dietenberger from North Fond du Lac/St. Mary’s Springs. Kraege won by a fall in 3:37.
Division 2 Regional at Kiel HS:

- Chilton/Hilbert – 155.0

Individual Results:
Chilton/Hilbert:
Reed Breckheimer was Chilton/Hilbert’s lone Regional Champion at 195 pounds. Breckheimer advanced to sectionals with a win over Alonzo Trunell-Spindler of Plymouth in the championship match.
Also advancing to sectionals from Chilton/Hilbert were Hunter Heller (106 pounds), Brandon Heimann (138 pounds), Phoenix Fortune (220 pounds) and Logan See (285 pounds). All four took second place at their respective weight class
Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah/Howards Grove:
ELG/Howards Grove had one Regional Champion – with Collin Mieselwitz winning the championship at 106 pounds. Mieselwitz won over Hunter Heller of Chilton/Hilbert in the championship match.
Kyle Jens (126 pounds) and Raistlin Lopez Loyd (145 pounds) were second place finishers at their respective weight classes and advanced to sectionals
Kiel:
Kiel had six wrestlers win Regional Championships and advance to sectionals, including:
Eyan Dessellier (120 pounds), Andrew Schad (126 pounds), Joah Lund (132 pounds), Ezekiel Sippel (138 pounds), Alex Kleinhans (152 pounds), and Connor Meyer (170 pounds). The Raiders also had Connor Faust (160 pounds) and Isaac Vandermeer (182 pounds) place 2nd and qualify for sectionals.
New Holstein:
New Holstein advanced one wrestler to sectionals, with Mike Volz winning the Regional Championship at 182 pounds
St. Lawrence Seminary:
St. Lawrence advanced one wrestler to sectionals, with Joseph Hall winning the Regional Championship at 160 pounds.
Division 2 Regional – at Grafton HS:
Kewaskum:
Kewaskum had four wrestlers win Regional Championships and advance to sectionals, they are:
Nick Deheck (126 pounds), Braeden Scoles (160 pounds), Dylan Soyk (182 pounds), and Kannon Muckerheide (195 pounds).
Also advancing to sectionals from Kewaskum were Oliver Voight (138 pounds), Jadon Rhoads (152 pounds), Collin Duren (170 pounds), and Sam Gauthier (285 pounds) – all four finished in second place in their respective weight class.
Division 3 Regional – at Oakfield HS:

Oakfield:
Oakfield had one Regional Champion with Alex Wilson winning the title at 138 pounds to advance to sectionals. Brock Boelk also advanced to sectionals for Oakfield, taking second place at 126 pounds.
Princeton/Green Lake:
Princeton/Green Lake had two wrestlers win Regional Championships, with Collin Schueler (152 pounds) and Kordell Hansen (195 pounds) taking the title and advancing to sectionals. P/GL also had six wrestlers place second at their respective weight classes and advance to sectionals – they include Hunter Lambert (113 pounds), Isaiah Wagner (120 pounds), Tait Glassmaker (132 pounds), Colton Hilke (160 pounds), Alexander Douglas (220 pounds), and Sean Bollinger (285 pounds).
Division 3 Regional – at Random Lake HS:
Winnebago Lutheran Academy:
The Vikings had one wrestler win a Regional Championship, as Josh Roloff won the title at 152 pounds to advance to sectionals.
