WIAA Individual Wrestling Tournament

Division 1 Regionals (At Hartford High School)

Fond du Lac finished fifth at the Division 1 regional at Hartford with 138 team points. Slinger placed first with 250 points, Oshkosh West 2nd with 178 and Beaver Dam 3rd with 168.5.

Fond du Lac’s Colton Wasieleski (195 pounds) wins the DIvision 1 regional title and advances to individual sectionals next week. Other wrestlers to advance to sectionals from Fond du Lac High School include Logan Naker (138), Colin Athanasiou (152), Austin Baatz (170), Adam Hopper (182), Chase Krug (220) and Donte Johnson (285).

113 Pounds : Ripon’s Zachary Bekck wins the regional title, advances to sectionals

120 Pounds: Campbellsport’s Cade Heisdorf wins the regional title, advances to sectionals. Lomira’s Noah Danner finishes 2nd and also advances.

126 Pounds: Braden Maertz of Kewaskum is the regional champion, advances to sectionals. Lomira’s Jon Stucke finishes 2nd and also advances.

132 Pounds: Eric Bauer of Kewaskum is the regional champion, advances to sectionals

138 Pounds: Ryan Riedel of Lomira is the regional champion, advances to sectionals

145 Pounds: Bennett Marchant of Campbellsport is the regional champion, advances to

sectionals. Lomira’s Colin Saegert finishes 2nd and also advances.

152: Pounds: Chase Parr of Lomira is the regional champion, advances to sectionals

160 Pounds: Mason Ksioszk of Campbellsport is the regional champion, advances to sectionals. Lomira’s Nate Thomas finishes 2nd and also advances.

170 Pounds: Carter Veleke of Waupun is the regional champion, advances to sectionals. Lomira’s Matt Hanke finishes 2nd, also advances.

182 Pounds: NFDL/St. Mary’s Springs’ Dakota Maas is the regional champion, advances to sectionals. Campbellsport’s Matt Koelbel finishes 2nd, also advances.

195 Pounds: Lomira’s Collin Feucht is the regional champion, advances to sectionals, Waupun’s Austin Farr finishes 2nd, also advances.

220 Pounds: Allan Klink of Lomira is the regional champion, advances to sectionals.

285 Pounds: Cody Jacobson of Ripon is the regional champion, advances to sectionals. Adam Kinyon of Lomira finishes 2nd and also advances.

WIAA Division 3 Wrestling Regionals (At Markesan High School)

Laconia wins the regional championship with 193 team points. Poynette 2nd (188) and Princeton 3rd (167). The Spartans advance to the WIAA Team Sectional Semifinals on Tuesday against Random Lake.

Individually, Laconia’s Dylan Jacob (120 pounds), Zach Foth (126), Alec Potter (138), Zach Coffeen (160) and Caleb Hopp (182) are all regional champions and advance to individual sectionals next week. Bryce Engelhartdt (132), Brett Hebert (145) and Travis Henker (170) are 2nd place finishers and also advance.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy finished 4th at the Markesan regional with 112 team points. Jacob Bilitz (106), Luke Meihack (160) and Ethan Guse (182) are all 2nd place finishers and advance to sectionals.

WIAA Division 3 Wrestling Regionals (At Random Lake)

Oakfield finishes 5th with 65 team points. Louis Schraufnagel (285 pounds) is a 2nd place finisher and advances to sectionals.
