Window Visits Are Back On Across The State

Window visits were the only way most family members have been able to use to see their loved ones at Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. And then it was announced on Monday that those visits were now banned.

That information was released in a memo issued by the State of WI Board on Aging And Long Term Care. In an instant, there was an uproar heard across the state. That same state board, and Governor Evers, quickly reversed its decision and is now allowing the visits. The board said it did not intend to completely outlaw the visits, but merely were attempting to make sure people were not coming into contact with one another during those visits and ignoring social distancing.
