Winnebago County Inmate Faces Federal Charges for Threats

A Winnebago County Jail inmate is now being indicted by a federal grand jury for making threats against a Jewish community center in the Milwaukee area. 33-year old Chad Grubbs is accused of mailing threatening letters to the religious center three times while in jail. He’s now charged with three counts of mailing threatening communications, one count of threatening to injure and destroy property by fire and an explosive, and three charges of obstruction of the free exercise of religious beliefs. Grubbs is still in jail for unrelated crimes, and is awaiting sentencing for threatening a judge as a repeat offender.
