Wisconsin DPI Releases School ‘Report Cards”

The Wisconsin
Department of Public Instruction has released their school ‘report card’
assessments that rate the performance of schools and school districts across
the state. Two school districts in the area, Rosendale-Brandon and Oakfield
received five-star ratings from the DPI, meaning they significantly exceeded
expectations. Meanwhile, the Fond du Lac, Campbellsport, Lomira, Mayville,
Ripon and Waupun School Districts received four-star ratings, meaning they are all exceeding expectations. The North Fond du Lac School District and the Oshkosh area school
district received three-star ratings, meaning they are meeting expectations. Statewide, 82 percent of Wisconsin’s
public and private school report cards had three or more stars. More than
95 percent of the state’s public school districts earned a three-star
rating. It’s the second year of the “report card” format from the state for
school assessments.
