Wisconsin Hunter Receives Probation/$95,000 Fine

A Wisconsin hunter will be on probation for five years and pay a 95-thousand-dollar fine for shooting a deer during archery season in Nebraska. Federal prosecutors told the court 40-year-old Duane Mulvaine of Fox Lake broke the law with the help of an outfitting business in Broken Bow, Nebraska.  Federal investigators say there were six violations between 2012 and 2017.  Mulvaine was caught during a federal probe of illegal hunting in central Nebraska.
