Wisconsin Restaurant Assoc. Lists Restaurants Still Serving

Challenging times call for creative measures, and the restaurant business the state of Wisconsin has probably been one of the hardest hit. But it’s also full of some very hearty souls, and brilliant marketers, especially when it comes to staying open and getting their favorite menu items into the hands of loyal customers.

Now, the Wisconsin Restaurant Association has published an online directory that lists all of the restaurants in the state that are still serving food via deliver, takeout, drive-thru and curbside. You can find the listing at www.wirestaurant.org/wisconsineats

“We’ve heard from so many people that want to support their favorite local restaurants and help them survive these difficult times,” said Kristine Hillmer, President & CEO of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association, noting that the economic impact of COVID-19 to restaurants and their employees is devastating.

“The best way to support restaurants is to order takeout or delivery as much as you can – and enjoy some great food while you’re at it.  We also encourage buying gift cards to use when dining rooms open up again”  Hillmer advises that you check with the restaurant directly either by phone or check their website to verify their current menu offerings, hours and the best method for getting your food to be sure you have the most up to date information.

The Wisconsin Restaurant Association is one of the largest trade associations in the state with over 7,000 member locations throughout Wisconsin. WRA represents the entire food service industry, which includes over 16,000 licensed food service establishments.
