>>Badgers LB Baun Informs Teams He Tested Positive For Diluted Drug Testing Sample

(Madison, WI)  — A spokesperson for former Wisconsin Badgers linebacker Zack Baun says his client was genuinely confused, upset and embarrassed when a drug testing sample was found to be diluted.  It happened during the N-F-L Combine and all of the teams have been notified. The theory is the finding was the result of Baun drinking significant amounts of water before the weigh-in. A diluted sample caused by drinking a lot of water is sometimes a strategy used to mask other banned substances which could be traced in a urine sample. Baun is still projected as a first-round pick in next week’s 2020 N-F-L Draft.

>>Packers Could Decide To Take QB With Pick #30

(Green Bay, WI)  — Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is still one of the best at his position, but he is 36 years old. Even though his current contract has four years to run, general manager Brian Gutekunst has told reporters he would not hesitate to take a quarterback with the team’s top draft pick, number 30 overall, if one of the top prospects is still available.  Rodgers says he wants to play into his 40s and he still plays error-free football. His numbers were down last season, but you could make a case that Davante Adams was the only dependable receiver he had to target with his throws. Gutekunst has seven picks on the third day of the draft, meaning he might at least try to obtain a project player to serve as a backup.

>>NBA Season Over – Or Not – Antetokounmpo Still Likely MVP

(Milwaukee, WI)  — Whether the N-B-A season resumes or never does, it’s apparent that Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetoukounmpo is about to win his second straight Most Valuable Player award.  If and when that happens, he will be one of only four N-B-A stars to win two M-V-P awards by the time he’s 25 years old. The others are Kareen Abdul-Jabbar, LeBron James and Tim Duncan. In the 65 games played this year, Antetokounmpo improved his scoring average, rebounding average and three-point shooting, while playing fewer minutes-a-game.

>>2 Months After NBA All-Star Game, Bucks’ Pat Connaughton Has A Side Hustle

(Milwaukee, WI)  — Pat Connaughton of the Milwaukee Bucks has a side hustle while waiting for the N-B-A to end its stoppage.  Connaughton says it seems “so long ago” since he competed in the 2020 N-B-A All-Star Game Slam Dunk Competition.  It was less than two months. Lately, he has been guest teaching some classes at his alma mater, Notre Dame School and College Preparatory School of Milwaukee. The virtual classes to younger students concerned being an entrepreneur and for the high school students it was about using time wisely. Connaughton says he’s confident his Bucks team will reach its goal of winning it all – either later this year or next season.
