Wisconsin State Senior Bowling Championship Begins Today in FDL

The 38th Annual Wisconsin State Senior
Championship bowling tournament is taking place in Fond du Lac starting this
weekend. The tournament is being held at Ledgeview Lanes and begins today
(February 9th) and runs for the next 11 weeks – ending on April 28th.
More than 600 four-person teams are expected to visit the area to compete for
the championship in their respective divisions. For the first time ever, the
doubles and singles tournaments will be held in one central location. Teams
visiting the area for the tournament are expected to book more than 800 room nights
in local hotels and provide an economic impact between $500,000 to $750,000.
This is the first visit to Fond du Lac for the tournament.
