WisDOT Releases Highway Maintenance Work Schedule

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces state highway maintenance work in Northeast Wisconsin. Maintenance operations are typically preformed in spot locations in the project limits. Traffic impacts do not typically affect the entire highway limits of the maintenance project, or throughout the project’s entire duration. All maintenance operations are weather dependent. Work is listed by county.

Winnebago County

Annual spring maintenance on bridges will take place at the following locations:

• Monday, April 4
  • Wisconsin Street Bridge (WIS 44), 8 a.m. to noon, various lanes closed
  • Oregon/Jackson Street Bridge, Noon to 4 p.m., right lane closed
• Tuesday, April 5
  • Congress/Oshkosh Avenue Bridge (WIS 21), 8 a.m. to noon, right lanes closed
  • Main Street Bridge (US 45), Noon to 4 p.m., right lane closed

Door County

Annual spring maintenance on bridges will take place at the following locations:

• Wednesday, April 6
  • Maple/Oregon Lift Bridge, 8 a.m. to noon, flagging operation
• Thursday, April 7
  • Bayview Lift bridge (WIS 42/57), 8 a.m. to noon, flagging operation

Outagamie County 

• Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on WIS 96 between I-41 and Lyndale Drive, nightly, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, March 27 through Friday, April 8. Various lanes on WIS 96 will be closed during nightly repairs.
• Maintenance crews will be repairing concrete on I-41 between the South County Line and County OO, daily, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, March 27 through Friday, April 8. Various lanes on I-41 will be closed during daily repairs. 
  • The I-41 off-ramps to WIS 96 and I-41 on-ramps from WIS 96 will be closed at various times during work hours while crews conduct repair work.
  • The I-41 off-ramps to College Ave. and I-41 on-ramps from College Ave. will be closed at various times during work hours while crews conduct repair work. 
• Maintenance crews will be repairing concrete on WIS 15 between McCarthy Road and I-41, nightly, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., Sunday, March 27 through Friday, April 8. Various lanes on WIS 15 will be closed during nightly repairs

Motorists are urged to slow down and be mindful of workers near highways.
