Woman Arrested in Connection to Suspicious Death in the Town of Kewaskum

A 50-year-old woman has been arrested in connection to a
suspicious death in the Town of Kewaskum. The Washington County Sheriff’s
Office said in a news release the woman his facing charges of 1^st
degree intentional homicide in the death of her 43-year-old husband after a domestic
dispute.

Deputies were called to the home just before 9:30 on
Wednesday morning after receiving a 9-1-1 call from the suspect. Authorities
say the woman was arrested at the scene without incident, and the victim was located
inside the home by officers. Initial investigation suggests the victim was
stabbed during the incident. The Kewaskum Police and Fire departments, the
Wisconsin State Patrol and the Washington County Medical Examiners Office
assisted in the investigation.
