Woman Who Bought Gun Used In Murder Sentenced In Fond du Lac

The woman involved in a 2021 Fond du Lac murder has been sentenced to prison.

Callie Bender was sentenced to two years in prison, and three years of extended supervision, after being found guilty of purchasing a gun that was used to kill David Posey back in February of 2021.

Bender purchased the gun for Denell Logan, who then used the gun to kill Posey during a drug deal.

Posey was shot in the leg, and then drove away from the scene, crashing the vehicle he was driving just a few blocks away from the shooting occurred.

He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Logan is due back in court in October.
