Women In Management Gathering Set For Blue Harbor Resort And Spa

Businesswomen throughout Wisconsin are invited to attend “Wit, Wisdom & Wine” a spring networking event for working women set for Friday, May 8 from 3-8p.m. at Blue Harbor Resort & Spa in Sheboygan.  

Hosted by the Women in Management, Inc organization, attendees will arrive from chapters located in Oshkosh, the Fox Cities, Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac and Ripon/Green Lake.  Other businesswomen interested in attending as guests – or those thinking about joining a chapter – are also welcome to attend.  The event could draw as many as 300 women.

Highlights include nationally-known motivational business speaker Mary Faktor who will present Inner Voices – Smart Choices, a cocktail/networking social hour,  appetizers, door prizes,  and a five-course dinner (that includes dessert) followed by a comedy act, The Six Ages of Women.

“This event at Blue Harbor was formed to bring all of our WIMI chapters together for a wider networking opportunity, to have fun, laugh, and learn all at the same time,” said Michelle Kvitek, WIMI Executive Board President and a member of the Manitowoc Chapter.  “We invite all women to join us – and, perhaps, even check out becoming a member in one of our chapters. It takes place on Mother’s Day weekend so some might want to make it a family getaway, with the kids going to the waterpark and mom to the spa.”

Blue Harbor Resort & Spa is a sprawling 4-story luxury resort located on the Lake Michigan shoreline in Sheboygan. Features include a spa, boutique, three restaurants, an indoor waterpark, putting green, outdoor pool and bar.  A variety of quaint shops are located adjacent to the resort.
