Workers In Racine Join Strike Against CNH

Workers in Racine have joined a 1,000-person strike at farm equipment manufacturer CNH.

The United Auto Workers says plants in both Racine and Burlington Iowa are on strike after a contract between the UAW and CNH ended on April 30.

Similar strikes at John Deere and Caterpillar have resulted in higher wages for employees at both companies. The company said in a statement that CNH remains committed to reaching an agreement with UAW.
