Young Sentenced in FDL County Court

A 25 year old
man from Milwaukee was sentenced in Fond du Lac County Court Wednesday for his
role in a June 2014 home invasion. Judge Peter Grimm sentenced Xavier Young to
22 years in prison and another 20 years of extended supervision. In February, a
jury found Young guilty of being party to the crime of armed robbery and
burglary.  Young was one of three men who
entered a home on east Follett Street on June 8th of 2014 and
demanded money. During the robbery, a handgun was held on three people
including a woman and her baby. Cell phones and a safe were taken. After the
trial, District Attorney Eric Toney commended witnesses who testified against
Young in the case, despite being threatened with a gun at the scene and later
having more threats posted against them by Young on Facebook.
